Community Service

A core value for CenterPointe is to service the community around us.  We believe this to be a critical component of following Christ. We are regularly scheduling different opportunities to serve the community.

One examples of where we regularly serve is the Hesed House.  Every other month, we serve a meal at the Hesed House, the second largest shelter in Illinois, located in Aurora.  We cook and serve dinner to approximately 200 people as well as perform other duties.

Another example of  our regular community service is with Central Elementary School in Plainfield.  Since our beginning, we have been building a relationship with the parents and staff of Central.  We have the privilege of co-hosting regular events for the school like the Fall Festival, Toy Shoppe for families in need, and the Winter Carnival.  Some mission partners from CenterPointe also regularly volunteer at Central throughout the week.
